A unique event to end the year with meaning — and with beautiful bottles

To end the year with a gesture as warming as our cuvées, Domaine de Rocheville is organising a brand-new event: a Charity Wine Auction in aid of Les Restos du Cœur, on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, in the heart of our Loire Valley vineyard.

For an afternoon, the Domaine will turn into an auction room among the vines, promising a festive and welcoming atmosphere.

Participants will be able to bid on a selection of AOC wines from older vintages — our hidden gems, patiently kept away from prying eyes — while supporting an essential cause.

Those who win the lots will walk away with a piece of the Domaine’s history… and the feeling of having made a meaningful gesture.

An auction-style entertainment will punctuate the event, featuring presentations of the specific traits of each vintage and each cuvée, enhanced with anecdotes from the winemaker.

Because yes — it is possible to combine the seriousness of the cause with the light-heartedness of the season.

How does the Charity Wine Auction work?

This charity wine auction is designed to combine the passion for wine with solidarity!
Offer a magnum, collect rare bottles, or enjoy exceptional cuvées while helping those in greatest need.

Raise your paddle high!
The most generous bidders will take home rare bottles from Domaine de Rocheville — the very last bottles of sold-out vintages — along with the satisfaction of contributing to a concrete act of support.

All proceeds will be donated to Les Restos du Cœur.

And to extend this spirit of solidarity, Domaine de Rocheville will donate €1 for every bottle purchased in the boutique on Friday, November 28th and Saturday, November 29th — a great opportunity to discover all of the Domaine’s organic wines and enjoy tastings on site.

It’s the perfect occasion to come and (re)discover our current cuvées… and to preview the lots, which will be displayed at the Domaine a week before the charity auction.

Which old vintages will be on sale? Hidden treasures from our cellar

To prepare this exceptional sale, Rocheville has opened the doors to its reserve of old vintages.

Among the many cuvées ageing quietly, we have selected about twenty lots combining bottles and magnums of Saumur Champigny and Saumur Blanc, two iconic Loire appellations, from vintages ranging from 2005 to 2015.
Among the wines offered, you will of course find old vintages of Rocheville’s emblematic cuvées such as La Dame, Le Roi, and Le Fou du Roi, among other surprises.

These bottles are more than cuvées: they are fragments of our story, vintages that have marked the life of the Domaine.

They tell of the evolution of the terroir, the patience of meticulous work, and the magic that happens when a wine is given time to become its best self.

Looking for unique bottles? Here is why these lots are worth your attention

Every bottle of wine is a small time capsule telling a story: a generous vintage, a challenging year, a heroic harvest…

These wines are not just good — they are alive, structured, memorable.

To collect, offer or enjoy — with an extra touch of soul: solidarity.

For lovers of gourmet food and wine pairings, these bottles also offer the opportunity to create rare, subtle combinations deeply rooted in the culture of Loire Valley winemaking.

A Charity Wine Auction to support Les Restos du Cœur

While this sale highlights our older vintages, its purpose is above all human.

The full proceeds will be donated to Les Restos du Cœur in Maine-et-Loire, and volunteers will be present on the day to collect additional donations.

Behind every bid, every donation, there will be a meal, support, comfort — a helping hand.

For nearly forty years, Les Restos du Cœur have been active across France.
Their mission goes far beyond providing meals: social support, reintegration, listening, assistance… an immense task carried out by a tireless network of volunteers.

In Maine-et-Loire alone, the organisation mobilises 75 employees and 1,512 volunteers. Last winter, they helped more than 10,000 beneficiaries, including nearly 1,000 children under the age of 3.

We are proud to contribute, in our own way, to this chain of solidarity.

Because wine is, above all, about sharing.
Because a bottle is rarely opened alone.
Because even a small gesture can mean a lot.

Domaine de Rocheville: a committed wine estate

Located on the hillsides of Parnay, in the heart of the AOP Saumur Champigny, Domaine de Rocheville — an Independent Winegrower certified in Organic Agriculture — has been producing Saumur Champigny, Saumur Blanc and Crémant de Loire since 2004.
Its red, rosé and dry white wines are crafted from the Loire’s emblematic grape varieties: Cabernet Franc and Chenin, grown across a 17-hectare vineyard.

Our fine, authentic and elegant wines are the result of manual harvesting, artisan winemaking, and meticulous work on a clay-limestone terroir shaped by tuffeau, the iconic stone of the Loire Valley.

Patient ageing in stainless steel vats, oak barrels or Tronçais oak casks gives each cuvée a unique character.

Each vintage included in the charity lots has been crafted with care and deep respect for nature.

Opening our cellar for a Charity Wine Auction means sharing far more than bottles: it means passing on a story, a philosophy, a part of our identity.

Every cuvée is a fragment of the Domaine, a captured moment of Loire, a nod to our passion as winemakers.
