Produced in a small enclosure in Brézé, Clos de la Thibaudière is an original and confidential Saumur Blanc, full of finesse and minerality, which bears the signature of a great terroir.
It boldly revisits the identity of the Chenins de Loire. Prepare to be surprised!
A small plot in the heart of the village, the Clos de la Thibaudière extends over less than one hectare in the commune of Brézé, on the edge of the Fontevraud forest.
The vines are rooted in a renowned soil that has been producing wines with a strong personality for centuries. A soil of sand and silt on the surface, a layer of clay, and tuffeau stone make Brézé one of the most beautiful “Blanc de l’Anjou” soils and are expressed in the wine by a characteristic minerality.
Initially worked in accordance with the Terra Vitis charter, since 2016 the vines have benefited from Organic Farming practices that give pride of place to natural grass cover and the preservation of the biodiversity.
