Le Roi : a beautifully structured Saumur Champigny

Produced from our finest plots of old vines, this red wine holds its rank. It is elegant and it has got noble and powerful aromas combined with fresh and full red fruits notes. Its body is  dense body with a melted and spicy woodiness which gives it a beautiful balance.

It is a perfect match for a table, especially in its hand-waxed magnum, and will be at its best during your evening meals.

Royal and harmonious, it is a noble accompaniment to roasts and ribs of beef, poultry and small game, but also salmon coulibiac or pikeperch in red wine, country terrines or strong cheeses.

Promising ageing qualities. Remember to decant it two hours before serving.

Le Roi 2019 is aged for 2 years in big oak barrels, giving it velvety tannins. 2019 is our first certified organic year.
