What is Vignobles en Scène?
Vignobles en Scène is an annual event dedicated to wine tourism. Organised by the Vignobles & Découvertes federation, it takes place on the third weekend of October. In 2026, the event runs from 16 to 18 October.
Throughout France’s wine regions, wineries offer original activities in three categories: tasting experiences, creative experiences and immersive experiences. These may include tastings of older vintages, long-table meals, shows, walks through the vineyards and much more.
The aim is similar to the French Heritage Days: to bring wine regions to life, showcase their vineyard heritage and introduce visitors to wine culture in a fun and friendly way.
This year, Domaine de Rocheville invites you to discover the Saumur vineyards and taste its organic wines through two original experiences.
Wine tasting by bike bar through the Saumur-Champigny vineyards
Looking for an unusual activity near Saumur to enjoy with family or friends?
Looking for an unusual way to explore the Saumur vineyards? Climb aboard Roul’Ernest, a pedal-powered bike bar, and enjoy a fun ride through the Domaine de Rocheville vineyards while discovering and tasting our organic wines.

What can you expect from the wine-tasting bike tour?
- The bike bar accommodates 8 to 14 passengers, with up to 10 people pedalling.
- Thanks to electric assistance, you don’t need to be particularly sporty to enjoy the experience.
- Along the way, two stops in the vineyards give you the opportunity to taste four Rocheville organic wines, accompanied by a member of our team.
The bike bar is a fun and original way to explore the vineyards outdoors. Enjoy the gentle autumn weather and taste wine right in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny vineyards.
Did you particularly enjoy one of the wines during the ride? You can find all of Rocheville’s organic wines in the estate shop when you return.
A journey into the shadows: a mystery blind tasting in our troglodyte caves
Experience an unforgettable sensory adventure in the heart of our troglodyte wine caves.
Let us guide you into the darkness of our underground cellars for a unique wine-tasting experience.
An elevator takes you effortlessly down into the caves. From there, you make your way through the dimly lit galleries, following a subtle line of light towards the intimate atmosphere of the underground cellars.
What happens during the blind tasting?
- A blind tasting experience: standing around a wine barrel in a warm and friendly atmosphere, you will taste four organic wines served in opaque black glasses. Without being able to see the wine, you will use your sense of smell and taste to try to identify its characteristics.
- Food and wine pairings: each wine is served with a small appetiser designed to give you clues and help you identify the wine.
- Discussion and guidance: our team will accompany you around the barrel, discuss your impressions, offer clues and eventually reveal the identity of each wine.
Once the wines have been revealed, you can find them in the Domaine de Rocheville shop.
