In the Saumur region, Cabernet Franc is famous as the basic ingredient for Saumur Champigny wines. But did you know that it also composes Saumur Rosé? Known as Cabernet de Saumur until 2016, Saumur Rosé is a discreet Appellation (it covers 80 hectares and produces a total of 570,000 bottles per year) but it is gaining in popularity.

At Domaine de Rocheville, the Saumur Rosé has a poetic name: Le Troubadour. Dry, tender, aromatic and fruity (but not sweet!), this joyful companion brings joviality to your glass with its beautiful pale pink colour and wild strawberry aromas.
