La Jouvencelle, a fresh and fruity organic Saumur Blanc wine

As it is aptly named, La Jouvencelle concentrates all the freshness and vivacity of the chenin and the Loire terroir.

This is a charming Saumur Blanc, very representative of its appellation and its remarkable tufa soil. A dry but fruity white wine, aged in oak barrel, it seduces with a very aromatic nose of white fruits (quince, pear…), white flowers and honey, a mouth of citrus fruits (lemon, pomelo) and tropical fruits discreetly toasted.

The finish, fruity, rich but without opulence, is long, very pleasant and suggests a good future thanks to its tension!

Which dishes pair well with La Jouvencelle?

Ideal for food and wine pairing, this vintage can be enjoyed in many circumstances.

Serve it as an aperitif or as a starter with seafood and shellfish. It is also an elegant accompaniment to dishes: grilled fish, lemon chicken, tajine, Vietnamese soup, veal stew…

When it comes to cheese, think of goat’s cheese which goes well with Chenin (Sancerre cork, Crottin de Chavignol, Touraine crown) or take out a mountain cheese…
