Summer Winedays ! Every Friday in July and August, Domaine de Rocheville welcomes you on its panoramic terrace at aperitif time for a relaxing moment in a musical atmosphere.
An air of holiday at the winegrower’s near Saumur
In the vineyards, the sun warms the young grapes and the parasols brighten up the terrace of Domaine de Rocheville with a touch of bright colour. No doubt about it, it’s summer!
For holidays, weekends or simply afterwork, the heat makes you want to relax and share moments of conviviality. This is exactly the spirit of the Summer Winedays!
For several years now, the wine estate has been inviting you to a meeting every Friday evening in July and August, at aperitif time.
From 6pm to 8pm, enjoy two glasses of wine produced in the winery accompanied by a small board of appetizers, in a musical atmosphere. Sit on our beautiful panoramic terrace if the sun is shining, or in our large contemporary glassed-in room with its view of the vines and the Parnay valley.
Discover the programme of the Summer Winedays 2021
This year, the Summer Winedays take you on a journey to the heart of the French regions. Each week, a new region is honoured with the broadcasting, on our flat screens, of a concert video by an artist or group from that region and tasting bites representing its culinary specialities.
In the space of two hours, take a musical and gustatory tour of France without leaving your seat: travel to Corsica, Brittany, the PACA region, the Basque Country, the French overseas departments and territories…
Organic Loire wines to discover
The Summer Winedays are an opportunity to discover or rediscover the wines made in Rocheville, 100% Chenin Blanc or 100% Cabernet Franc. According to your taste, choose your two glasses among the 4 AOP produced with passion at the winery : Crémant de Loire, Saumur Blanc, Saumur Rosé and Saumur Champigny.
Our wines are vinified in a traditional way, with a constant search for quality, both in the vineyards and in the cellar, and with respect for the environment and your health.
From the fine bubbles of the Favorite to the fresh and fruity aromas of the Troubadour and the quiet strength of the Roi, succumb to the charm of our Terra Vitis and organic certified wines.
Our team is here to introduce you to each cuvée, its specificities in terms of terroir, grape variety and vinification, and to help you choose the one that best suits you.
Discover our photo exhibition about biodiversity
During this evening, you will also be able to enjoy the superb photos of our summer exhibition on the theme of biodiversity, on display until 15 September.
The photographers from Saumur Alain Campo Paysaa, Philippe Siriot and Michèle Lepeintre, capture the moments when nature makes a spectacle of itself through their photos of flowers, insects, birds captured on the spot…
Some fifty photos highlight the importance of biodiversity for the balance of ecosystems, and more specifically in an organic vineyard.
Buy your wine at the property
Have you fallen in love with the wines you have tasted? Domaine de Rocheville’s shop is open until 8pm during the Summer Winedays. You can buy your wines directly from the producer and get advice on the conditions of service and storage of your vintages.
For a holiday souvenir, a gift, or to replenish your cellar, there is no shortage of ideas. You will be able to extend this summer evening at home, with family or friends!
